Microchip Connect can provide the customer acceptance software required to connect microchip and smart tag registration into one digital workflow.
Where supported by the Microchip Database, this process will take place while the owner is still in the consulting room. Once the microchip registration is completed, the Smart Tag already paired to that microchip can then be accepted and activated
Practice Requirements
To make your clients' microchip registrations fully automatic, the Microchip Connect App/API must be installed and activated on each practice PC that will be used for microchip registrations.
Once connected, your practice will have access to its Microchip Connect dashboard, giving you visibility of the microchip registrations carried out by your practice.

Microchip Connect is designed to remove the traditional delay between implantation and registration. Where the associated database supports the required automated workflow, registration and customer acceptance can take place during the consultation. If the Microchip Database requires additional customer action or follows a different registration process, Microchip Connect follows that database's requirements.
Download
Download the Microchip Connect App onto your practice PC or Mac and install it.
Activate
On first launch, enter your Account Number and Activation Key. Your practice details are already linked to your Microchip Connect account.
Your Account Is Live
Complete the short setup and your practice is ready to use Microchip Connect. Continue using your PMS as normal.
Microchip Recognised
When a microchip is implanted, Microchip Connect recognises the individual microchip and its paired Smart Tag, matches the chip's recorded supply allocation, then looks to register it first with the associated Microchip Database.
Registration Can Be Completed Before They Leave
Where the associated Microchip Database supports automated registration and customer acceptance, the registration can be completed while your client is still in the consulting room. Once the microchip registration is completed, the owner is shown the Smart Tag already paired to it and can choose to activate it now or later.
